5.0 out of 5 stars a quick & lasting fix to short hairs in up-do. With a few strokes of the "mascara like" wand, hair that has broken off & unable to reach an up-do are secured into a clean & classy look. I keep my hair in a pony tail even while sleeping. So, when I want to pull it into an up-do I have broken hairs along my hairline that make my look sloppy. Hairspray just doesn't do it. This product does. I even have to brush it out the next day if I haven't the evening before. I am a repeat buyer. My first purchase is still working after intermittent use for over 3 years. 5.0 out of 5 stars Gel on a small brush I had low expectations for this based on the reviews but still decided to try it. I have a shorter tuft of hair at my temple that is regrowth from pregnancy. It sticks out anll crazy sometimes and I hate it but this wand fixed it for me. It’s just gel on a small little mascara type brush. I’m kind of a busy lady with not a lot of time on her hands to do much fiddling about with my hairs unless I’m going out dancing * my regular day is about 15 to 20 hours* , so I wear my hair up in a high bun A LOT.The one thing that has always irritated me about this hairstyle is those little tendrils of hair in the back that don’t make it into my up do.Hairspray and gel didn’t really work, hairspray made the hairs crunchy and eventually chunks of back hair ended up sticking straight out like I got electrocuted, but only in the back. Gel made my hair too hard and I’d have to wash it out the same day.As an African American woman, I can’t be washing my hair every day like I’m a Barbie doll or something, so gel was most definitely not the solution.Both attempted solutions were very difficult to brush out and left my hair with flakes in it.😖I am addicted to reading about new beauty things on Buzzfeed and I found this stuff in one of their “articles” so I decided to take the plunge and give this a shot since it was super cheap.O.m.g it WORKS!I put my hair up and went out dancing the other night and despite all the whirling twirling and sweating, not one hair moved.Not one!I was even able to brush it out easily, there was no flaking AND the tendrils in the back still stayed up the next day.👀The only weird thing about this is that it feels exactly like lube.I was definitely on the fence about putting something that felt like it was for sexy times with my lady parts on my hair, but I’ll try almost anything once and I’m glad I did because this hair sauce is amazing.And who but me is putting this stuff on their hands anyway? I just do it because I have an uncontrollable need to feel and smell anything I’m putting in my hair or on my body. 🤷🏽‍♀️Normal people will not notice this at all I am sure.I included some pics that I took this morning when I put my hair up( forgot to do it after I went out dancing 🙄), I’m they hoping show how good it holds, I futzed around with the mirror trying to get a good pic, but I’m no expert!😬They are a lot longer after using this hair growth serum I got on Amazon so I was doubly surprised that the sauce held up so much hair! 344 people found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars Tames Baby Hairs & Cowlicks I have cowlicky baby hairs that really kill the vibe of my messy buns and up dos. Gel and strong hold hair spray tame them but look so severe… too harsh a look that wasn’t flattering to my features. THIS product very gently does exactly what you want it to. It comes in a mascara wand and kinda looks like an oily gel. It’s awesome. If I’m doing something active or walk outside in wind, I’ll just tap tap tap where I placed it and the stuff just kinda reactivates. I much prefer this more gentle hold than the austere look of slicked back gel. One person found this helpful

5.0 out of 5 stars My holy grail I am have always had a problem with stubborn baby hairs. Traditional gel and hair spray couldn't even hold them in place. I bought this being skeptical but the reviews and the price convinced me to give it a shot. So glad I did! One swoop of the wand and those stubborn baby hairs were laying flat! I love it so much I started recommending it to family and friends and they love it as well. If you are on the fence just buy it, you won't be disappointed.

I KNOW there are parents out there who can relate to the “Picture Day Surprise”... you spend precious morning minutes styling your child’s hair to look perfect for that ONE picture but, unbeknownst to you, by the time he/she actually get their his/her picture taken, sometime mid-afternoon after a recess of two, all your effort is gone with the wind... and sweat! Months later you get notice that school pictures are ready to order, excitedly you look at the sample and there’s your amazing, happy, beautiful, frizzball child with hair barely resembling that which you sent to school.My kids have sensitive skin so I limit chemicals and only use water-based products but I gave in and got this to just to combat the “Picture Day Surprise”. I’ve been using it almost regularly now for my own up-dos, my daughter and even my sons hair (for when the “G-Q hair” starts to grow out, and he’s got that Alfa-Alfa pointer sticking up!) with zero irritation or incidents.My only concern is that I wish it was cheaper or had a bulk-buy option/discount because I find it runs out pretty quick (sometimes within 1-2 weeks and I’m using it sparingly!) and the cost start to add up so I tried other brands but I this has been my favorite so far... I love seeing my kids come back from school with hair as nice, neat and sleek as they left the house with... especially if we have ballet or plans after school.

This really helps smoothe down any flyaways and does not leave your hair feeling stiff or sticky. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great to control thin hair I bought this for my grandma. Her hair is very short and thin. She wanted a lightweight product to keep her wispy hair in check and she loves it. She has ordered more. It's also worth noting, my grandmother is allergic to almost everything. All perfumes, almost every lotion, she has to carry her own hand soap around because even the soaps in the public restrooms trigger her allergies. 5.0 out of 5 stars Still works perfectly 10 months later! I have insane baby hairs. Some days it looks like someone took a military grade air blower to my face and man did I need something to help tame it. I thought these were just overrated hair mascara and that I could just buy some clear mascara and it would be interchangeable but I was wrong!This does come in a container that looks like it is mascara which can be a pain to use if you try to bring it back farther behind your head and it gets caught but it was worth the price. This product isn’t waxy and Although I felt it on my hair, if I touched my hair it didn’t give off hairspray feeling residue. My hair wasn’t stiff and when I tried to lay my baby hairs down after application, the product felt slightly wet but not gross feeling.As someone who hates gel, mousse and hair wax because it feels heavy, I would recommend this product because it feels light. I would rate the sturdiness of this product 8/10. This is great to use on the go since it is super portable but if you live somewhere super windy it might not hold. I think this product is a nice step down from wax for women and it is definitely a staple in my purse for when I put my hair up all fancy.One thing I would say is that if you have long baby hairs this can be a pain to use because (as mentioned before) when you bring the wand to the back of your head it can tag a bit on your pony tail or loose hairs. I would suggest to go light on the product (light handed application as well), smooth it out with your hands then repeat.Love this hair mascara! 18 people found this helpful
